How the TAM estimator works
The estimator starts from a base company count for the industry you pick, then multiplies it by a company size share and a regional share. For example, B2B SaaS has a base of 32,000 companies, 11-50 employees keeps 30% and Europe keeps 70%, which gives about 6,720 companies (32,000 x 0.30 x 0.70).
The base counts and shares are fixed planning assumptions, not a live company database. Use the result to judge how large a list you could build, not as a market size to quote.
